As a Design Lead my role was to

• Manage internal & external design projects by leading a team of 3+ designers
  
• Handle multiple projects & translating wireframes and experiences into highly-polished visuals with a user-centered design methodology.
• Mentoring & guiding less experienced designers & hiring new ones
• Work directly with clients & external dev teams to meet quality and timelines & balanced Business, technical & User Experience design inputs when making design decisions.

A few Achievements

1. I have worked directly with clients in UK & USA for Crisil as the only Design lead, handling the entire process of Visual design & development of style guide with Stakeholders and their Dev team.
   
2. Optimizing Figma processes which resulted in faster and quicker work outputs
   ‍Problem: After a few months of our team working on Figma, I realised most of the team members were not using the best and quickest methods while designing.
   ‍Solution: I took regular sesions with the entire team on the use of latest plugins, components & keyboard short cuts.
3. Saving more than 30% of redundant time of every designer across 3 teams (20 designer in total)
   Problem: In office I found most of the people going very late home and working long hours as a result projects getting delivered at late nights, although most of the designers had the best systems.
   Solution: After some introspecting & research I realised all the systems had HDD and were lacking SSD’s for better and faster processing. After convincing the management of the vast difference in speed between SSD & HDD, they got it installed for all therby increase in profits and less late nights.
4. 16+hrs of time saved for creating assets per project
   Problem: After a project was completed, creating assets for the dev team was soo time consuming which took up 16+ hrs to complete.
   Solution: As a go to person for new tools I helped transition our team to Zeplin thereby saving 16+hrs of time for creating assets per project.
5. I helped increase conversation and sharing between team members by creating a Skype group and regularly sharing new inspirations, techniques, thoughts and latest trends.

• I oversaw the entire design process along with a team of 4 designers and streamlined the work of different projects across Branding, Marketing & Digital Design for all the incubated companies

• With our in house Android & iOS  Dev team, I oversaw the developed output of our design & did QC on a regular basis.
